(More customer reviews)I've tried different products of heat therapy for my lower back and find MediBeads the best so far.ThermaCare (based on iron salt oxidation) is not reusable and costs add up quickly.And I don't like electric pads because of EMF concerns.

This pad lasts about 15 min for me.I have it inside some clothing against the back of a chair, and press it closer as it cools.It works pretty well.

Another reviewer complained that it never got hot enough and cooled too quickly.I found while I only need to heat 1m45s in my kitchen built-in microwave, it would take 3m30s to heat to the same level in my 700W microwave.You just need to heat it longer, although the label says it should not exceed 2m30s.I guess that's their lawyer's advice.
