(More customer reviews)I have had used 2 most well known brands heating pad; TheraTherm and Thermopore at my clinic but They did not make me and my patients happy.

TheraTherm was a cheapest but it was just low/medium temp heating pad that you can fall asleep on without fear of burning. It was just for home use only.

The second brand, Thermopore was better than TheraTherm. But I did not like the switch which one need to be hold down with my one hand. Once I release it, it stop heating.
Come on!!! We are in year 2010. People watching LCD TVs at home. I don't find a super heavy-thicky CRT TVs anymore. Why the THERMOPORE heating pad is still 100% on-off manually by THUMB? Is THERMOPORE means THUMB MORE POOR? Someone suggested use a rubber band to hold the on -off switch. But I think it was not a safe idea. Also it doesn't maintain the same temp. After a year(Warranty just expired) 2 of 6 that I purchased were stop working.

So I decided to look for a professional grade one at this time. And I found this one, ReliaMed heating pad at Amazon.com. It solved all the problems I had with others on the day I received.

With LCD... 2010 LCD control not 20th centry 'THUMB-MORE-POOR' switch, I was able to set the timer 1~60 minutes(Thank God, I did not have to hold anything). Also temp control with safe lock button was smart. LCD was letting me know the current temp and target temp. The LCD control is so logical and easy. AND IT WORKS SO FAST AND REACHED 160 DEGREE. Even the pad itself has little dots all over so it made perfect contact with cover. How smart! The size was perfect for shoulder, thigh and legs.

No more bothering with other brands that never really get the job done. This is the only proffessional grade moist heating pad I've ever used.
